Kara E. Walton, MD
Dr. Walton has clinical interests in general dermatology, including skin cancer, autoimmune disorders of the skin and psoriasis. She enjoys providing personalized care to patients of all backgrounds in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Dr. Walton received her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison majoring in Biology and Spanish. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and then completed a transitional year internship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She served as chief resident during her residency training in dermatology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, where her training had particular emphasis in follicular disorders, vitiligo and blistering diseases.
Dr. Walton is involved in resident and medical student education and currently serves as co-director of the second year medical student dermatology curriculum.
