Keri S. Chaney, MD

Introduction

Dr. Keri Chaney is an assistant professor of dermatology, and joined the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2013. She graduated with honors with a degree in molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then received her MD from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She went on to do an internship in internal medicine and a fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Boston University School of Medicine. Her fellowship focused on caring for patients with melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, and other unusual skin malignancies. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Massachusetts, serving as chief resident in her last year of residency. She worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA before returning to Wisconsin to be closer to her family.Dr. Chaney specializes in patch testing, a form of allergy testing where chemicals are taped to the skin to identify causes of allergic contact dermatitis. Dr. Chaney is a member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society and uses resources like the Contact Allergen Management Database (CAMP) to help patients identify and avoid triggers of their contact dermatitis.

Dr. Chaney sees adult patients for general dermatologic care at the Medical College of Wisconsin/Froedtert Hospital, the Moorland Reserve Clinic in New Berlin, WI, and at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. She is actively involved in teaching dermatology residents and medical students.
