Education & Training

The goal of the Dermatology residency training program at the Medical College of Wisconsin is to provide an outstanding, broad-based education in dermatology. This includes experience in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, the cutaneous manifestations of systemic disease, surgery of the skin, and the value of dermatology in the interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Medical students from the Medical College of Wisconsin have the opportunity to perform a dermatology rotation. These students are expected to gain a better understanding of common dermatologic diagnoses and their treatment, cutaneous oncology, dermatoses associated with internal diseases, and drug eruptions.
