Dermatology Outreach Program (Telemedicine)
Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s telemedicine program makes world-class, specialized care available to families close to their homes. The program uses teleconferencing to connect patients in the Fox Valley to pediatric specialists at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Rather than traveling to Milwaukee for your child’s appointments, you can travel to a local office, where you will meet with specialists at Children’s Hospital using video conferencing.

Our Dermatology Outreach Program can treat the following conditions:

What happens at a visit?
When you first arrive, a specially trained nurse will meet with you so you can fill out an assessment form for your child.
We will then take photographs so the specialists can examine the skin to make a diagnosis.
Once we’ve gone through those steps, the nurse will make an audio and video connection with the Milwaukee hospital. During the session, you, your child and the physician will be able to see and hear each other. This is your time to answer questions and discuss any concerns you have. Then the physician will develop a treatment plan and discuss details with you.
