The Department of Dermatology has been part of the Medical College of Wisconsin since 1946 and grew to full departmental status in 1988. The Department’s activities include nationally recognized clinical, educational, and research programs.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is to provide exceptional and compassionate care for children and adults with common and complex skin diseases; to educate and inspire clinicians, scholars, and future leaders who will advance the specialty of dermatology; and to foster innovative and interdisciplinary research that will bring new knowledge and provide state-of-the-art care for patients.
